The Care Connexion is a labor marketplace and care management platform designed for the home healthcare industry. The platform connects home healthcare agencies directly with qualified professionals through automated workflows and productivity tools. By streamlining referrals, staffing, and communication, it reduces inefficiencies and helps providers focus on delivering timely, high-quality care.

The Care Connexion is led by Andy Barth from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Bradley Evsich from Santa Monica, California. With backgrounds as physical therapists and experience in healthcare staffing operations, the founders are motivated by firsthand exposure to labor shortages and care delays. Their work is focused on ensuring the aging population has access to reliable, in-home healthcare services.
Home Healthcare Access & Workforce Shortages
In Louisiana, home healthcare providers face persistent labor shortages and operational inefficiencies. Agencies often rely on costly staffing firms, which increases overhead and slows care delivery. As the population ages, these challenges strain providers, clinicians, and patients who need timely in-home services.
Home healthcare is burdened by expensive staffing middlemen, fragmented communication, and slow referral cycles. These inefficiencies drive up costs, contribute to clinician burnout, and delay patient care, making it difficult for agencies to scale and meet growing demand.

The Care Connexion addresses this problem by providing an automated marketplace that directly connects home healthcare agencies with professionals. By removing intermediaries and streamlining workflows, the platform helps communities overcome labor shortages, reduce administrative bottlenecks, and create opportunities for scalable, high-quality in-home care.
